Daisies

Updated: Sep 17, 2018

I was shriveled up and dying

the color drained within my cheeks

brittle, broken, beaten

earth and soil surrounded me

you helped to give me purpose

and I started growing tall

now daisies bloom within me

I don't let my petals fall
